Our client had recently purchased a 1,300 sq. ft. site and wanted to build his dream home. His long-term plan was to construct a multi-storey house, but due to budget constraints, he requested us to build only the ground floor for now. Instead of postponing construction and continuing to spend on rent, we planned a home that would serve his present needs while being fully prepared for future expansion.

We constructed two identical homes, each with a built-up area of 550 sq. ft. The layout was carefully designed to include everything a family needs within a compact space—a bedroom, living hall, kitchen, toilet, and a welcoming foyer.

When we started this project in 2023, many people told us it would become a loss-making project—and honestly, they were right.

Constructing only a ground floor increases the cost of excavation, footing, foundation, and structural work because these expenses remain almost the same whether you're building one floor or planning for multiple floors.

At Veeksha Construction, we completely agreed with that reality. But our vision was different.

Our motto was to help families who own a site but cannot immediately afford a large house. Instead of waiting years while paying rent every month, we wanted them to move into their own home and expand it whenever they were financially ready.

Rather than focusing only on profit, we chose to make this project a service to demonstrate that quality construction can also be affordable. With a minimal margin and zero compromise on quality, we successfully completed each home for just ₹10,00,000.
